I have only used this website once. I ordered 2 CD s which stated they were both in stock. I received email confirmation of my order straight away but then received another email a few days later advising that both of the CD s were out of stock and they were on order with the supplier. They gave me the option to cancel the order if I wished otherwise they would just advise when the CD s come back in stock. They also advised that no payment would be taken until the products are dispatched. I received this email once a week for a month and then was notified that one of the CD s now in stock and had been dispatched. I received this CD a few days later. I waited a further month for the other CD before cancelling my order. HMV has kept me informed of what stage my order was at the whole time so I knew my order hadn't been lost which I found helpful. After cancelling the last part of my order I received an email confirming cancellation within a few minutes. I didn't mind about the delay in receiving these products but if I had ordered them for a present etc I would have been annoyed. I d consider using this website again but if I was unlucky enough to order another item which stated it was in stock but to later find out it was out of stock I would probably make that my last time.

I was slightly disappointed with the service that I received from HMV.

I ordered an item and paid roughly £2 for delivered expecting in within a couple of days. Unfortunately I was waiting over a week for the item.

But it did arrive in good condition, just a shame about the time taken.

I have used HMV a few times in the past but I have never pre-ordered from them, up until now.

I found a code for discount on a game that I wanted but they failed to get it to me for release date. They never stated they would do, but a lot of sites out there do.

If you are not desperate for a title to be delivered quickly, then these would make a good choice especially if you can find a discount code.
